The Vison Van In Langley BC May 8-9th.
The 40 foot long, 12 foot high Vision Van came to British Columbia to deliver eye care to over 180 kids over two days. The volunteers worked hard and the kids were rewarded with good eye care. Thanks to everybody who came out. CLICK ON EACH PICTURE TO SEE A BIG VERSION.

   

The day starts with a orientation to make sure every knows what they are doing.
The first line of defense is the registration desk, nobody gets on the van without seeing these folks.
And they had a lot of work to do and kids to register.
After registration it time to get a visual acuity test done. Can you see the big E?
And finally onto the Van and 1st stop is the auto-refractor.
And then into see the Optometrist.
Who performs a full eye exam.
Once the RX is determined its time to choose a frame.
And the glasses are fabricated by crack lab tech's. In about an hour!

Loic cooked over 250 hot dogs to keep the kids, parents and volunteers happy.
When we had time we also recycled over 900 pairs of glasses. Kelly was the champ!
