OmniShadow Plugin for OmniOutliner Professional and ShadowPlan
This plug-in will enable you to open, edit, and save ShadowPlan files
using OmniOutliner Professional 3. It requires you to have a
licensed copy of the Shadow Desktop for part of the background
conversion.

Update:
Tiger OS X 10.4 support! How nice of them to break and alter Applescript for me! :-P No matter, I just had to do a couple things differently. I should also have the log-bug squashed. For those of you that are alias-happy, please backup all data. It appears the new Applescript handles aliases a little different, and I'm not sure if I tracked down all the changes yet. This also now requires the Universal Applescript Menu Item. Individual Applescript Menus are being shunned by Apple (and good riddance, too).

Bugs bugs bugs. This time I squashed a prefs bug that appeared if
a previous installation had gone wrong. Also, this will
automatically take you through the preference setup process if you run
any script without your preferences set.

The main purpose of this update is stability and
user-friendliness. Basically, it should now gracefully handle
those of you who like to throw your folders all over the place and then
put aliases of them into your Home folder. This will even handle
those that move the Home folder around. I also made it to work
around the alias bug in Shadow Desktop, so that should be a nice little
bonus for those that have hit that bug in Shadow.
I have also added the ability to directly open a ShadP-*.pdb file using
a file-browser. Just hit cancel when the file-list appears and it
will switch to the file-browser instead. So far, it seems to
work. We'll see.
The Tiny FAQ:
Q: Why did you make this?
A: I love OmniOutliner on the Mac. Unfortunately, OmniGroup
doesn't make a Palm version. THe best outliner that I know of is
ShadowPlan. ShadowPlan does have a desktop companion, and it is
very capable. But, it has the cross-platform idiosyncracies that
a hardcore Mac-User (like me) doesn't want to put up with. So,
this project is an attempt to bring the best of both worlds together
for me.
Q: Is it really free?
A: Sort of. The Plugin is free. OmniOutliner Pro 3 and
ShadowPlan are NOT. This plug-in is a combination of efforts from
both OmniGroup, Code Jedi, and myself, so it wouldn't really be right
for me to charge for it anyway. Besides, both Omnigroup and Code
Jedi were kind enough to get me on their beta programs and provide me
with the software I needed to create this plugin, so I got all the
payment I could ever desire!
