| Notes for Edward WINSLOW |
[10th COUSIN-15 TIMES REMOVED]+ [A] [K]
Edward worked as a saltmaker in Droitwich, Worcester County, England.
Edward had five children which came to America, namely Edward and Gilbert Winslow (Mayflower, 1620), John Winslow (Fortune, 1621), Josias Winslow (White Angel, 1631), and Kenelm Winslow, who married Eleanor (Newton) Adams, who came in the Anne, 1623. Edward Winslow also had several sisters, including Magdalen who married Rev. William Wake on 25 April 1627, in Wareham, Dorset, England. - [1]
The Winslow surname is taken from the town of Winslow in Buckinghamshire, England. The original family seat was in Worchestershire. - [2]
[NOTE/PUZZLE] The website http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/2806/b51.htm#P1115 supplies a different woman as the mother of Edward. At this time, the majority of evidence leaves me to with the lineage given. More research is being done to settle "the debate."
