| [GREATx4 UNCLE] 5 June 1860 Henry, one year old, was living in Harrison township on the the family farm. 16 June 1870 According to the Federal census, Moses (49) was farming in Harrison township of Wells County, Indiana. the family was living on the family farm which was now valued at $6200 in "real estate" and $1200 in "personal property." The family consisted of Mary A. (39), William (23), Melinda (20), Adam (18), Sarah A. (15), Elijah (13), Henry (11), Edward (9), George (7), Chloe E. (4), and Allen (2). William was working the farm and Edward and George were attending school. 23 December 1888 The minister M. Manin performed the wedding ceremony of Carrie and Henry. 8 February 1897 Henry's father, Moses, died. Adam, the fourth eldest son, was named the executor of his father's estate. The will was contested by the children of Moses' daughter, Sarah. Sarah, herself, was also a defendant in the case along with her brothers and sisters. The case was heard in Wells County and known as "Adam Arnold/Julie E. Arnold/William Arnold/Emaline Arnold/Clara Arnold/George Arnold/Allen Arnold/Sarah A. Arnold/Malinda Deam/Henry Arnold/Mary J. Lanning/Albert Lanning/Ida M. Ehle/Charles W. Ehle/Carrie Arnold Vs. Mary E. Straw/Hugh E. Straw/Henry E. Straw/Charles E. Straw/Samuel E. Straw/Geraldine Straw." Henry received 20.73 acres and sold it to the Smith & Bell Mortgage Company in Bluffton. [PUZZLE] Henry moved to Tecumseh, Michigan. 11 September 1918 The McBride Funeral Home in Bluffton, Indiana handled Henry's funeral arrangements.
