Purchased iWork '08 Today


haven't installed it yet...

I went to the Apple Store in the Bullring in Birmingham today and got my copy of iWork '08.



I actually didn't think to check the system requirements before purchase as though I know it will work fine on my Intel iMac I wasn't 100% sure if it would work on my G4 PowerBook.

Quick check of the iWork page on the Apple store...

• Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (500 MHz or faster) processor

I'm okay.

I did have a go with Keynote in the Apple store as I wanted to try out the new builds for objects one of the few shortcomings (or only shortcoming) of Keynote compared to PowerPoint and was very pleased.

Looking forward to installing iWork and trying out the new Keynote. Also interested in the improvements to Pages and seeing how Numbers performs compared to Excel. If all goes well I probably won't get Office 2008 when it finally comes out.
