Importing a PowerPoint Presentation created in Windows into
Keynote
it's even better than PowerPoint for the
Mac...
I recently decided that I wanted to use some of the
features of Keynote for a presentation I was giving and had created in
PowerPoint 2002 on a Windows XP PC (in fact I had originally created it in
PowerPoint 2003 before then).
I imported
it into Keynote and though not all the features of the presentation were
converted (in the main master slide transitions) it did import quite nicely and
easily.
Just to check a few things I was
very surprised when I used PowerPoint X it did not open it correctly and failed
to recognise the fonts and
transitions!
Maybe I shouldn't be
surprised that an Apple product is better than the Microsoft version in using
Microsoft files!!!
