Installed Wordpress


really, really easy...

Installed Wordpress on my ifelix.net webspace, for my new food blog.

Really pleased on how simple it was, also helped by the ease of use from my web hosting service, hostway.

Wordpress basically installed itself (almost).

One downside is a lot of the feature found on Wordpress.com are either not available (eg stats) or have to be installed manually (eg tag cloud). Also virtually all the themes available on Wordpress.com are not available if you install it yourself, but there are plenty of places to download others from.

Seems to be working fine at the moment.
