Dr Bunsen Honeydew is Top Cult Scientist

Dr Bunsen Honeydew and BeakerA muppet has been voted as Top Cult TV Boffin by a poll on the BBC TV Cult website. Beating other Cult TV scientists such as Spock (from Star Trek) and Scully (from the X-Files), Dr Bunsen Honeydew and his (often blown up and electrocuted) assistant Beaker secured a third of the vote.

Second place went to Spock, third to Doctor Who with Q (from James Bond) coming in fourth place.

The muppet duo were never renowned for great scientific success with most of their experiments resulting in disaster (usually focussed on Beaker).
