Apple Store in Birmingham


nice, but busy...

Today I was in Birmingham and I managed to find fifteen minutes to pop into the Apple store in Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre.

It was really busy, but I did manage to find a minute to try out the 24" and 20" iMacs. Really nice computers, I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I was surprised that they had virtually every Mac application running, from Shake, Motion to iPhoto and iTunes.

Though it was really busy, most of the people there who were trying out the Macs seemed to be more interested in the free internet access than actually trying out a Mac.

I had to help a couple of young people who couldn't work out how to access the internet, "wot no Internet Explorer" and showed them Safari. They didn't really care they just wanted to check out a MySpace page.

Really nice shop, but busy.
