Sending N73 files by Bluetooth - Solved!
it was down to the restrictions in place on
my laptop...
My HP laptop is a work laptop and (unlike in my
last job) is well locked down. So much so that I don't have direct access to the
hard drive.
The Bluetooth software creates a default location for file transfers on the local hard drive which means that when the phone sends the file, the laptop attempts to save it to the local hard drive and the restrictions in force means that it can't so I get a failure message without any clue as to why!
So under the HP Bluetooth settings I have changed the settings so that it now saves to my network area and yes I can now send files from my phone (and other Bluetooth devices) to my work laptop.
