XP SP2 Bluetooth Mess with VAIO SRX51P
what an effort...
The VAIO SRX51P (like my SRX41P) has Bluetooth
installed as standard, and as there was no native support for Bluetooth, the
VAIO used a package called Bluespace to allow connections to Bluetooth
devices.
I decided to install XP SP2 so
that I could see how the Windows XP native support for Bluetooth
worked.
After installing XP SP2 I found
there was no Bluetooth Control Panel
icon.
After reading the VAIO support
pages I found out that I had to install a Bluetooth driver update
before
installing XP SP2.
I also found out that
I needed to do a BIOS update before I could install the Bluetooth
update.
So I un-installed SP2 and started
installing all these
extra
updates...
I might eventually get to
installing XP
SP2...
