Bluetooth and XP SP2 on a VAIO SRX51P

managed to install SP2 eventually...

Well it was a bit of an ordeal...

First as indicated in the previous post I has installed XP SP2 only to have to un-install it...

So

Ensure SRX51P has XP SP1 installed.

Re-install audio card driver because of XP SP1.

Install BIOS update programme (as SRX51P has no floppy disk drive).

Upgrade BIOS.

Restart.

Install Sony Programmable I/O Control Device driver.

Restart.

Install SonyUtil.

Install Sony Bluetooth driver and application.

Restart.

Install XP SP2

Restart.

Now I can pair with my spare T610 and use its GPRS account, once I have installed the T610 modem drivers, and oh charged up the T610 as well...

All I can say is that at least with XP SP2 the VAIO remain connected to my Airport wireless network!
