Well my predictions were virtually spot on...

we have a new Airport Extreme Base Station...

A few days ago I posted my predictions for the recent Apple MacWorld Keynote and though Apple's new Airport Extreme base station wasn't mentioned it was released just after the Keynote had finished.

I said

I am guessing that we will see a new 802.11n base station (or even base stations) replacing the current Airport Extreme Base Station

The new Airport Extreme Base station supports 802.11a/b/g and 802.11n

I also said

One potential improvement we may see with the Airport Express is an expansion of the functionality of the USB port.

You can now add a hard drive to the new Airport Extreme Base Station. Actually you can add mutiple hard drives and printers via a hub.
Now you can share an external USB hard drive over your wireless and wired network by simply connecting it to the USB port on your AirPort Extreme Base Station. Called AirPort Disk, it's perfect for sharing files, making backups, and more. You can even connect multiple drives and printers using a USB hub (sold separately).
I also said about the Apple TV (which was known as the iTV then)

The iTV will be wireless and will use the 802.11n standard.

Which it does.

The new AirPort Extreme Base Station, is the perfect wireless solution for home, school, and business. As it blankets your space with a blazing-fast, secure wireless network, it opens up a world of possibilities for home entertainment, backups, printing, and more.

Will I get one, not sure as I don't think I can use all the functionality because of the location of my DSL connection.
