Free Wireless

better than paying for it...

One of my favourite free internet wireless hotspots is the Pier to Pier network in Brighton.

I also like the fact that they are aiming to have a huge free wireless network over the whole of Brighton.

I dislike the fact that I don't live in Brighton and therefore am dependent on my 3G datacard and the odd free wireless hotspot over here in the West Country.

I can find the odd free wireless hotspot now and again (Cafe Gusto on St Michaels Hill in Bristol) but more often then not it is a costly hotspot or nothing at all and reliant on the 3G card. However that is not perfect down to the lack of 3G coverage, for example one side of Starbucks at Glasgow Airport has 3G coverage the other side doesn't...

Having said that I do like the fact that I can charge my wireless access to the mobile phone bill.
