Can't get a valid connection

Vodafone 3G DatacardOne of the things I don't like about the Vodafone 3G datacard is the problem that sometimes because of what I am virtually 100% sure are issues with Vodafone I can not get a valid connection.

Repeated attempts fail even though it may have worked perfectly in the same location only hours previously.

All you get is the following error message (or something similar).



I know I have checked and verfied my settings, so I am sure it is Vodafone.

I have wondered whether their server crashed, or too many connections or what, is causing this issue. As per usual there is nothing on the Vodafone support site and their helpline is pretty much close to useless on these things as well, even more so when a Mac is involved.
