Vodafone MobileConnect Software Version 3.0
much better and now with WLAN
support...
I have downloaded and
installed Vodafone's Dashboard software, version 3.0 for the PC, for their 3G
Datacard.
It is quite a smooth installation process and the new software works much better than the previous version I was using.
One thing that Vodafone now support is access to wireless hotspots, in other words you can now have the cost of using a wireless hotspot added to your phone bill (or datacard bill) rather than paying upfront which is certainly much easier from a business point of view.
I am not sure if you need to have the card inserted to actually use the hotspot, but I hope you can. I also don't know if the Mac software will allow you do this as well.
