Jaiku on my Nokia N73 or not as it happens....


because it kills the battery life...

After much thinking (and finding the time) I decided to install the Jaiku app on my Nokia N73 phone which is a S60 phone. Jaiku is a micro-blogging site and you can find my Jaiku Blog here. Jaiku has an S60 application which allows you to Jaiku from your phone.

I have been meaning to install it and give it a go.

However one big downside.

It kills the battery in the sense that within just a few hours the battery was dead.

Slight problem for me, as I needed the 3G data connection, so it was hunt for the charger!

I have disabled the app and I will probably uninstall and not use it, pity as I liked the concept.

That's one of the big problems with these sophisticated phones the battery only lasts a day and sometimes as happened to me not even a day.
