3G/GPRS Datacard unreliability whilst on the move
why can’t it be
better…
Okay so I am on a train and I know travelling by
train is never the best way to get a decent signal, but I have been this way
before and it has been better.
So here I
am going through Bristol on the way to London and I am getting very patchy and
poor 3G and GPRS connections on my Vodafone 3G Datacard, making checking my
e-mail and checking a few websites a very frustrating and annoying
experience.
Oh for the days when First
Great Western have wifi on their trains (however it won’t be free and will
probably be more pricey than the 3G
Datacard).
What about WiMax but
that’s not here yet.
In the end I
have given up, mobile internet is fine if you don’t move!
