Strange 404 error whilst on 3G network
probably a problem with the
proxy...
The Vodafone 3G network uses a proxy of some kind
which compresses images before sending them down so that you download less
(which is useful when they charge you by the
MB).
As a result of this "feature" I guess it must do something similar to webpages.
This was the result of trying to access a webpage from the Apple Discussion Forum.
As you can see it is a Google error page even though it's an Apple website. Strange.
