3G Prices
from Vodafone...
Competition certainly helps bring prices
down.
When Vodafone started their 3G
service they were the only players in the UK
market.
For the 1GB/month they initially
charged £100 per month, this quickly dropped to £75 per month and is
now only £45 per month, just a year later, and the 1GB is a fair usage
limit, not an actual limit.
During the
year more platers entered the market, notably Orange and
O2.
As more people sign up for 3G, I
expect the prices to drop even
more...
Eventually Vodafone may be able
to get some return on the huge amount of cash they paid for their 3G
licence.
