RDC over a VPN over a GPRS Connection
possible but slow...
I have found I can use Microsoft's Remote Desktop
Connection from my PowerBook to my office Windows PC via VPN over my mobile
phone GPRS connection via Bluetooth.
It therefore is possible but is slow, so generally only useful for doing really urgent stuff on your PC, for example reading or forwarding e-mail or files and not using applications in any great depth.
