linux on an iPAQ 3800

it was relatively simple...

I recently installed linux on an iPAQ 3800 using the instructions from this website. TThe process was relatively simple, but not very intuitive.

The key processes were to:

Install bootloader.

Backup the WinCE image.

Install linux from a CF card.

I was glad I could use a CF card to install, as the only option was to use a serial port and virtually all the computers I own do not now have a serial port...

It does look like it may be useful, but I still have to install a browser and ensure I can get a decent internet connection.
