Bluetooth Activesync

was always a bit of a bother in PocketPC 2002, but more of a breeze with PocketPC 2003....

When my iPAQ was running PocketPC 2002, I could with a huge amount of effort get it to sync with my VAIO via Bluetooth, but to be honest it was such a hassle that it was easier just to carry the USB sync cable with me...

Though I upgraded to PocketPC 2003 in February, I had not really looked at the new enhanced built-in Bluetooth functionality except to connect to my bluetooth equipped phone to access the internet via GPRS.

Yesterday using a HP Photosmart Mobile Camera I took a few pictures which I then wanted to use on the VAIO.

I couldn't seem to get the iPAQ to send the file via Bluetooth, but noted on the new in-built Bluetooth Manager that ActiveSync was already to go. I tried, I connected, I sync'd... including the pictures...

I could not believe how simple and easy it was...

So what was the picture...

it is a nice little camera.
