ADSL Connectivity Issues
maybe down to localised
interference...
Got home today from a trip out to find my ADSL
connection was really patchy.
Speed tests indicated nothing was amiss and I experienced the same issues with different computers.
I looked to my ISP and started down the reporting a fault process (slightly concerned as if it was my problem rather than an ADSL issue I would be charged £50!).
One thing that I was suggested to check was the phone connections to see if there was any localised interference. I unplugged all the phones and would you believe it all was working fine.
I plugged the phones back in one by one and found the culprit (it could be the phone or the filter), and it now currently remains unplugged and my ADSL connection is fine.
