Warmaster Araby Infantry and Cavalry

on display at GamesDay 2006...

Warmaster Araby Infantry and Cavalry

These 10mm high models were on display at GamesDay 2006. I did take quite a few photographs of these models (which have only recently been released) however a lot of them didn't come out, very blurred. This was in the main trying to be quick and the size of the models.

You can see my other attempts on the GamesDay 2006 Warmaster webpage. I have more photographs of Warmaster armies and games on my main website.

Orc Characters

work in progress...

I seem to be making very slow progress with my Warmaster painting as I get carried away doing Epic and 40K.

These Orc characters seem to have been unfinished for what seems ages...

Warmaster Historical

is going to happen...

According to Rick Priestly (who is probably the best source on these kind of things), there will be an historical version of Warmaster to be released by Warhammer Historical Wargames.

Ah well Ed fortunately I still have the old old job to go back to - but as of last week I have been officially on holiday or, to put it another way, finishing off the historical version of Warmaster for Warhammer Historical Wargames.

I wonder if they will produce some miniatures???

Araby Army

mentioned in the current UK issue (297) of White Dwarf...

In this month's White Dwarf is an article on a new Warmaster army, an Araby army complete with camels, elephants and flying carpets.

It made be realise how behind I was on Warmaster as I knew there were quite a few requests for an Araby army, but I didn't realise how far the concept had come along.

As I am so far behind in painting any of my Warmaster armies I doubt I will be buying an Araby army, but I might do what I did with the Lizardmen and buy a few units I like and paint them up.

Warmaster Magazine Issue #20

how come this entry is after the one on issue #21...

Finally managed to get hold of a copy of Warmaster Magazine issue #20 which I could never find in my local GW stores.

It looks good and has details of the excellent jungle game from GamesDay 2003 which I have a few (sadly fuzzy) pictures on my website.

Warmaster Magazine Issue # 21

sadly the last ever issue...

Another excellent issue of Warmaster magazine. lots of scenarios and lots on dragons.

The contents includes:

The Idol of Gork - a campaign based on the Warhammer Fantasy Battle campaign pack of the same name.

The Road to Nottingham - a Chaos General's tale of the Warmaster tournament.

Card Terrain - not making terrain, but using a card system to generate terrain for the tabletop.

Albion Battle Report - says it all really...

The Battle of Pont A'Leiss Enms - rules for the Emperor Dragon

Alas it is the last ever issue of Warmaster Magazine, it will be "replaced" by Fanatic Magazine which will cover all the Specialist Games.

Warmaster Pages on Felix's Gaming Pages.
