Riverford Organic Box


good value, great food...

I have always meant to get a veg box delivered, but either I was never in when they delivered or I forgot or I was too busy or I never got round to phoning the supplier.

Some time ago (well last September) I was at Blagdon (Bristol Water event) and Riverford Organic Vegetables had a stall, the veg looked good so I picked up a leaflet.



Last week I eventually got round to ordering a box.

I ordered a mini box to see how much you got and the quality of the veg.

MushroomsIn the box I got:
• potatoes
• carrots
• parsnips
• onions
• spinach
• mushrooms

I also ordered some eggs as well.

Having now tried all the veg, I am very impressed with the quality and more importantly the taste of the veg.

Is it better than the veg you can buy in the supermarket, most certainly and even better than the organic veg you get in the supermarket.

Yes it is very dirty and you have more mud than you would get with the sanitised veg from a supermarket, but to me it adds something.

I will now be ordering a box on a regular basis.
