Shakespeare Code

nice Doctor Who episode...

I enjoyed episode two of Doctor Who last night.

Entitled the Shakespeare Code, it was a fun episode with a large number of Shakespeare references and implied how Will was inspired to write Macbeth!

The Martha and the Doctor relationship seems to be working well and what is been done nicely is incorporating a few Rose references now and again, the Doctor has not forgotten her.

Often (back in the 1970s) it would seem that once the Doctor had a new companion he would forget his old ones. This new series remembers the old companions, even more so with the episode School Reunion in which we meet Sarah Jane Smith again.

I am really enjoying this new Doctor Who and I really pleased that it is doing so well. After the TV movie version back in the late 1990s (which was a disappointment) I thought we would never see a new Doctor on our screens. Russell T Davies has done a really excellent job.

I have also read that David Tennant will be back for season four, which will be great.
