Knowing the ending...

Does knowing the end twist of the Sixth Sense spoil the film?

I am not sure, but I think I would prefer watching the film not knowing the twist.

The twist of the film is given away in both 50 First Dates and Ocean's Twelve, which is how I found out about it.
