Winter Expressions

Discovery is a process. You have to make the effort, push the boundries and fail on occasion.
I discovered this series in a unique way. I awoke at 5 am to make early morning photographs in a new winter snow. I arrived in Forest Park in St. Louis with great aniticipation only to discover my wife had borrowed one of my primary lenses and my tripod mount was nowhere to be found. So in an effort to forge forward I hand held my camera with a long lens macro only to discover a unique blur perspective. I spent the next four days spending almost every available hour painting with the camera.
