So here is the conversation I usually end up having.
No, they can’t be! Um yes, they are all photographs! And I have to tell you this has been the most
exciting body of work I’ve engaged in for almost 30 years. While I have worked
most of my career in the traditional medium of large format B&W this new work really pushes
my personal perception of depth, light, color and what can be seen and visualized in nature.
All the images are abstractions from Nature. While many of the palette’s only exist for fleeting
time during the year, the images endure.
