Xenia elongata, a few small patches survived for a little while but
finally shrunk and disappeared completely, after reproducing continuously
for almost two years |

Tank Disaster - Part 2:
In February, 2003 I overdosed my tank on iodine. Luckily I was able to remove
most of the inverts to my small tank temporarily. Unfortunately, all of my snails,
serpent stars, and crabs died. I think much of the life in the sand bed was
also wiped out. The fish were unaffected. My xenia, discosoma mushrooms, ricordia,
gorgonian, and anemone have all since recovered.
