Tank Disaster

In April, 2001 my 75-gallon tank overheated to about 96 degrees. It's never been quite the same since. The following is a list of the fatalities.

Bubble Tip Anemone (2), Entacmaea quadricolor, one died immediately and the other died a few months later Xenia, Xenia elongata, a few small patches survived for a little while but finally shrunk and disappeared completely, after reproducing continuously for almost two years
Torch Coral, Euphyllia gabrescens Bubble Coral, Plerogyra sinuosa
Firefish (2), Nemateleotris magnifica Toadstool leather coral, Sarcophyton sp.
Six-Line Wrasse, Pseudocheilinus hexataenia Kenya Tree coral, nephthea, Capnella sp.
Pseudochromis fridmani Green Button Polyps, Zooanthus pulchellus
Red Mushroom, Discosoma sp., there are a few of these left but they are very small an are not growing Green Closed Brain, Lobophyllia sp.
all serpent stars, hermits, clams/mussels, bristle worms, and all but a few snails

Tank Disaster - Part 2: In February, 2003 I overdosed my tank on iodine. Luckily I was able to remove most of the inverts to my small tank temporarily. Unfortunately, all of my snails, serpent stars, and crabs died. I think much of the life in the sand bed was also wiped out. The fish were unaffected. My xenia, discosoma mushrooms, ricordia, gorgonian, and anemone have all since recovered.
