Steve Runkle

songwriter of the first order

Snowing Me Under

Perhaps the most beautiful ballad written since McCartney's "Yesterday," Runkle's "Snowing Me Under" is a chiller. But don't take this word for it, check out the CD. Reviewer Al Maginnes calls it "gorgeous'" while aficionado Cameron Wilson called it the best on the CD. Contender Tommy Goldsmith puts it in with the top love songs of all time.
Of course that's got to include Runkle's own rockin' love song, "Love Song." Premiered and polished with the Contenders, "Love Song" was recorded by the Oak Ridge Boys who had an easy ride to the top of the charts.
