1st Half-Mask: "Scuba Nightmare"

I sculpted this half-mask in clay and moulded it in Hydrocal FGR. I used Mold Builder latex to cast the mask, and painted it with FW Inks through an airbrush. This was only my 2nd sculpt ever.

First latex pull. The colouration is due to a failed flocking experiment.
A close-up view of the teeth and tubes.
Although disappointed with the teeth, I liked the scowl just fine.
Another angle.
Yet another angle.
After airbrushing and sealing with Krylon Crystal Clear.
I left the skin glossy to imply a layer of grease.
I drybrushed silver over a graphite base to enhance the definition of the tubes somewhat.
A close-up of the forehead, with a generous serving of spidery veins.
Another angle.
Yet another angle.
Putting the mask against a bright backdrop creates an interesting 'Balrog' effect.
Another angle.
And after some quick and dirty image manipulation...
It looks most menacing from this angle.
The fiend in its element!
