Corrupting tomorrow's leaders
I've been asked to be a guest speaker at KEOM's career day tomorrow. This is a
radio station, owned and operated by the Mesquite Independent School District,
where I got my start in the world of media. I was a student DJ there my senior
year in high school, and I worked weekends for a couple of years afterwards.
From there, I got an internship at the Texas State Networks (radio) and
later a weekend gig at KRLD .
I'm supposed to talk to high school students about my experience in radio, television and newspapers. This should be fun! Also, I'll be in the same building as Jeff , so I can help the effort to give the kids "Every Reason to Succeed" along their "Quest for Excellence."
