Fall at the Arboretum

It's Dallas Blooms -- Autumn at the Arboretum, and it's a gorgeous time of year. Yes, there really are parts of Dallas that are beautiful!

The Dallas Arboretum recently opened a new entrance and visitors' center. This is part of Dallas Blooms -- Autumn. No autumn display would be complete without hay. Here's a maze made of hay. S... Jenny in the corn. Something about the corn stalks... country culture... I du... Some more of the pretty plant life. That's White Rock Lake in the background. And a perfect time to steal a kiss. View from the "Woman's Garden." I like how it seems the reflecting pool flows... Some purple stuff along the walkway. A random couple enjoying the view from the gazebo. I shall call this slide... Fountain. Storybook house, complete with preschooler. And we steal another kiss, this one inside the storybook house. What a beautiful day. We should just rest on the lawn. We could have stayed here for hours... except that the park was about to clos... Here we are enjoying the day. Jenny's shoes are especially cute. But then, so is Jenny. A closer look at the lake and a gorgeous tree. Vertical fountain inside the Asian garden. Jenny says this could be an album cover. Now if I only had music to put on sa... Mum's the word. red mum... red mum... RED MUM! They even made a pumpkin out of foliage. We couldn't pass this by without sna... Here's Jenny, in the mist. I liked the light effects here.
