Three Coins in a Fountain
An afternoon or evening at the National Graphic Arts museum, attached to one of the most famous venues in Rome -- the Trevi Fountain. This is the largest and oldest graphic arts museum in the world, in the building where the Vatican publishing house was located. In the National there are an infinite variety of printing presses, lithographs, and plates that were made from original woodcuts. We'll spend time with the master lithographer, who will explain the traditional printing process and visit his laboratory.

At the end of our time everyone in the group will receive a lithograph made from an original plate, perhaps from the designs of Piranesi, one of the most noted 18th century illustrators of Rome. In addition, we could arrange a private walk in the neighborhood with a keynote address by Alan Epstein, author of As the Romans Do, and a catered dinner overlooking the Trevi Fountain.

After Hours at the Basilica
Organize an exclusive private after hours visit of the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, the first church in Christendom, built in 325 AD by the Emperor Constantine, (and the basilica where the new Pope officially becomes the Bishop of Rome). See magnificent, secret treasures not open to the public in the Basilica. To complete your day we might then feast on a multi-course meal at a nearby restaurant.

Culinary Team-Building Adventures & Alignment Workshops
Alignment Culinary Workshops provide a new “field for play” and give everyone a fun experience to be together. We prepare a feast as a way to learn about cooperation and develop a higher standard of teamwork. The workshop allows the opportunity to discuss issues and differences and share honest feelings. Using food and creative cooking techniques we build a pathway for teamwork exercises - as metaphors for management- and provide a strategy to work through the problems to create the final product. In this case, an excellent, coordinated meal. Once everyone has worked together this way, eaten together, and relaxed and communicated openly, the principles, guidelines and any conflict resolution can be discussed and agreed upon more easily. This, after all, is how Italians deal with the issues they need to discuss, within the family, with co-workers, and in the community at large, always with food and drink to lift the spirits and create a stronger connection. Relationship building wins trust and allows everyone to be more flexible, reliable and accountable.
