We live in a quiet, tree lined residential street in Islington, popular with families. Our house is 2 minutes from the underground station, Covent Garden is then only ten minutes from there by tube. There are good local shops (green grocer, organic butcher, haberdashery, fromagerie, delicatessen, hardware etc.) and many restaurants. Close by are several parks, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and the delightful Highbury Fields. Fifteen minutes walk away is Upper Street with its wealth of design shops, boutiques, delicatessens, cafes, wine bars, more restaurants, theatres and cinemas.
Our carefully restored Victorian house has three bedrooms, a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen, and double reception rooms with television and piano, a downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom and toilet. It comfortably sleeps five. We have a computer with Internet access. There is a small town garden with a tree house, swing, climbing ropes and a patio area with a garden table where we often eat in the summer.

We love this neighbourhood.
