Battery Management System (BMS)
I am making and installing my own BMS because it will increase the range and life of my batteries but most importantly it will give me good diagnostics of my electric car as a whole. My BMS is based off of Lee Harts concept, but largely modified.
Initial Configuration
USB-DAQ controls relay and MUX lines
USB-DAQ measures the following list
8 channels of temperature (of single SE available)
1 chassis ref general consumption current
1 chassis ref Acc. battery voltage
4 floating isolated analog inputs (for pack current, voltage, Vicor current)
2 floating isolated analog outputs (Vicor control)
Garmin GPS comes in through serial
DMOC controller parameters comes in through USB-serial port
