L'imagination fantastique de Monique :: This is a short, semi-animated movie I made for a French class. Narrated by yours truly in French.
Anxious and Depressed Cat :: A little experiment where I "animated" my cat's face to a sound byte from an informercial.
Fruity Boob Job :: A fruit trio sings and dances "Boob Job" by David Wilcox.
The Lady Bug :: Based on a "blurb" my brother wrote in high school; features my original drawings, narration, and lame keyboard skills.
I Will Not Forget You :: I am the most proud of this one; I finished it six months after starting it just because, at the time, it was just too painful. Of course, time has a way of watering down the bad parts, so today it's no big deal. I did this one in spring 2002 and it features my original cartoons and a soundtrack by Sarah McLachlan.
The Elysian Fields :: I did this one after "I Will Not Forget You" after receiving a huge positive response. The idea for this one came two years earlier and is about some friend issues I had with some people at college my freshman year. This one also features my original cartoons and a soundtrack by Guster.
Andromeda :: This is my first try at using iMovie, so there is a great abundance of "Ken Burns effects". This one is based on my expericence in junior high, specifically the eighth grade. I often went stargazing as a means of escape, and my favorite constellation was Andromeda. Featuring original Halcyon Days drawings and a soundtrack by Tori Amos.
Between Friends :: My second iMovie attempt; it's a little less dynamic than "Andromeda", but I think it fits the slow and peaceful feel of the song. This one is about my 16-year friendship with my best friend Sarah. Featuring original drawings and a soundtrack by Sarah McLachlan.
Cynically Hopeful :: Life often sucks, and different people deal with this in different ways-- some people write crappy poetry, other people build walls (literal walls, like, out of masonry). I make these silly QT movies using my cartoon people. This one is about me being lonely and mopey, but it has a happy ending in that I snap out of it... or something. Features a soundtrack by Guster.
