Another Day Older

I guess they're not really musings. "Musings" insinuate some sort of intellectual flavor that is absent this fine morning-after. Yesterday's natal anniversary was relatively low-key. Rather than enjoy the day goofing-off, I worked. I had to. This project I'm working on should have been completed two weeks ago and I'm just now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I did however enjoy a little indulgence last night. Inge and I had sushi (a lot of sushi) and then cocktails and chocolate at a bar around the corner. I would have been fine if I had stopped there but noooooo. Some friends gave me a bottle of Stoli Razberry which I opened when we got home. I was flattered that they thought of me and got me something for my birthday. I could do without the pounding headache though. Jesus, 37 years old - you'd think I would know better by now.
