Now It's Six
from the retirement-denouncement
dept.
I'm just going to stick my head up for a moment
to look around and say something about the six
retired
generals who have denounced the administration's tactics in Iraq. The question
is, how many retired generals who speak out against the war would it take for
people who support the administration to take
notice?
My answer is it doesn't matter
how many. All of them could, and it wouldn't mean anything. They aren't
putting their career on the line, so it doesn't matter what they
think.
Now, if a general denounced the
administration before retirement, that would be news
worthy.
Anyway, that's all I have to
say about that. Back to work...
