already. Look the poor guy shot his friend. He's really broken up about it.
Yes, he's a public figure, and that certainly gives everyone the right to make
fun of him. But step back for a moment and look at what you're
doing.
If you shot your friend by mistake, would you appreciate jokes behind your back? I think Cheney is holding up very well, and all this ridiculing just shows he has character under pressure. He's lost it before over less important things, so it looks like he's gotten a lot straightened out since then.
So go ahead and have fun at his expense. Watch John Stewart and Jay Leno and laugh it up. But when it's all said and done, remember that he puts his pants on one leg at a time just like you, and it really does hurt to have to listen to all the jokes, when he knows it's his fault that his friend is full of buck-shot.
