Scientist: Prayer Doesn't Work

There's this article
on the Times Online (UK) about prayer and the lack of evidence that there is any
healing power in it.
I call the motives of the people who tested prayer into suspect. Not only that, but what god were they praying to? Just a call out to whomever listens, I guess. I'm fine with their synthesis though because they're right. Prayer doesn't work, not the way they define prayer.
The way I see it, science has actually prevailed yet again in proving what the Bible says is true:
James 4:3: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
