The Best Irish Pub in Aurora Illinois.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone. On my
recent travels, I discovered what I believe to be the best, most authentic,
Irish Pub in Aurora, Illinois. It's a little out of the way, but worth hunting
down. "Jimmy's Pub" is unassuming, warm, and the best place I can think of to
spend a long St. Patrick's Day (and night) with
friends.The proprietor, James
Malbon, recently finished renovations and installation of the notable cherry
wood bar and wainscoting. The glassware is premium, the beer list varied and
impressive, and the food top notch. James is first-generation American, but
clearly evokes the Belfast spirit in every
detail.
