the mcginley wedding
july 29th . 2006 . the four seasons resort /
aviara
so i learned something at this wedding: university of arizona alumni know how to PARTY!
erica and matt's wedding was held at the four season in aviara...our second time there in as many weeks :) it's our own personal challenge to always try something new at every wedding, which of course makes it very difficult when you shoot at certain locations multiple times throughout the year. "luckily" we were forced inside by the threat of rain so we had to shoot all of the couple's formals indoors which was lots of fun. i'm sure the folks at aviara would gasp to see that we didn't even shoot at the "must have" picture window in the lobby :)
despite being moved inside due to the threat of showers, the ceremony was still beautiful and full of laughs.
i wish we had quote bubbles for some of these shots so you could hear erica saying "matt, you're not the piano man, now let's take some real pictures."
luckily, we didn't get in trouble for yanking this lamp out of the wall :)
matt was so funny, towards the end of their first dance he got on his knees to even out the high difference a bit :)
the best man's toast.
