the hughes wedding

ok, before i get all into it i have to be a stupid celebrity gawker for a minute...after we arrived early and had lunch i headed to the bathroom, yadda yadda yadda, came out to wash my hands and then wentworth miller III (a.k.a michael scofield from the fox show "prison break") was standing there washing his hands along side me. i think i tried some stupid attempt at small talk like "it's hot out there...." to which he responded "ya...it really is." so there you have it, that was the end of our little meeting. now when prison break premiers on the 21st it will be like watching my good old bathroom friend escape the law ;)
so....on to the wedding!
joanna and daniel's wedding was an absolute pleasure to be a part of from start to finish. we really just couldn't say enough good things about them....they were a total breeze to work with all day.
this is by far my favorite shaving shot ever!
the guys looking tough in the stairwell. it continues to be our personal challenge to photograph at the top venues in the world and somehow find the funky industrial underbelly to shoot in :)
so jac had this great idea to shoot the ENTIRE bridal party on the big bed in the bridal suite...so she sold me on the idea...we trucked everyone up to the suite. what she forgot to mention was that there was no room for me to shoot from! so i wedged myself into the entertainment unit that was literally three feet from the bed that we had to somehow fit nine people on. i love good challenge!
one last kiss before they headed off to the ceremony.
these two performed a beautiful duet during the ceremony that left no dry eye in the house.
on to the reception....as you can tell....joanna was very excited about being lifted up on the chairs for the hora :)
everyone's reactions during the awesome slideshow that joanna's sister put together.
