Most of the pictures displayed on this site have been scanned from black and white prints made by Demir Anadol. In this way I hope I have preserved his personal style in working with photography. If no print was found I scanned the negative and in these cases the outcome cannot truly be said to reflect Demir's style except for the

composition. His prints and negatives have been badly preserved and appeared in a rather bad state. Many hours of work have been devoted to cleaning up and retouching the pictures in Photoshop. Through this process I have influenced the final outcome, but I hope the pictures still reflect Demir Anadol's style and work. |
Despite many late nights working on the computer tediously removing cuts, scratches and fingerprints I enjoyed the work preparing the pictures for this site. I hope I will find time and energy to prepare more of his pictures for the web. They are great pictures and the work of a true artist that loved photography.
