The following newsgroups should be available at all sites which receive the full USENET (i.e. "big 7") newsfeed. If your site receives only a partial feed, you may have to talk to your News Administrator about accessing these groups.
And the best thing about the rec.* hierarchy? When a show gets canceled, the group can be deleted! (Unlike the alt.* hierarchy...)
