DISCLAIMER: In general, I only promise to update this page on weekends (though with Dreamweaver and Mac.com I am finding it much easier to update this page now, so more frequent updates are certainly possible). After all, this "TV Shows Status Page" is maintained as a hobby of mine! In any case, if you know that a TV show has been cancelled, etc., that information may show up on this page until the following weekend.
In addition, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of every piece of information on this page, though I am certain that nearly all of the information presented here is accurate.

NOTE: Any shows that have been recently added, or that have new information added, to any list, are underlined.

Known Cancelled Shows (in '05-'06):

By definition, shows that are "ending their runs" are doing so by mututal agreement among the network, the cast, and the production crew, and generally have "final" episodes (e.g. Everybody Loves Raymond, JAG, Friends, Frasier, Dawson's Creek, Buffy, The X-Files, 90210, Party of Five, Melrose Place, Seinfeld, etc.); otherwise, they've been cancelled (e.g. Judging Amy, Joan of Arcadia, Farscape, Spin City, The Pretender, Homicide, Ellen, Murder She Wrote, Lois & Clark, Dallas, etc.).

Here is the list of the TV shows that are ending their runs after many seasons at the end of the '05-'06 TV year:

*** In a completely stunning and unexpected news, 7th Heaven is apparently now UNCANCELLED!
It will presumably lead-off The CW's new Monday night line-up in Fall 2006.

Shows Known To Be "In Trouble":

This is the list of shows that appear to be "in trouble" (i.e. in danger of cancellation), with the network that the shows air on, and comments. By the way, if you see the word "retooling" next to a show you like, expect the worst, as network "retooling" almost always leads to a decline in the show's quality and usually ends with cancellation.

(NOTE: This list is mostly the opinion of this author, as influenced by media reports (e.g. "The LA Times"), and Internet scuttlebutt! Also,.this list is not necessarily "comprehensive"...)

                                              effectively, it's dead.

Threshold CBS It's effectively cancelled after just one Tues. airing.

Shows Known To Have Been Moved:

And here is the list of the TV shows from the '05-'06 season that have moved from old times to new timeslots. The new airing times are also listed. As stated above, any shows that have been recently added to this list, will be underlined. (Shows will also be 'pruned' from this list after a month or two...)

New Mid-Season Replacement Shows:

And here is the most up-to-date "mid-season replacement" list, which I will update as new shows start to appear (shows no longer airing, will be indicated in the list; check the "Hiatus" List, as well).

For the Fall, I will list any "new" shows that replace early Fall casualties; for spring, any show that has replaced a cancelled show, or that has temporarily bumped an established show into 'hiatus', will be listed.

(NOTE: Mid-season shows such as "Scrubs" or "Less Than Perfect" will not be listed here, as they are not (technically) "new" shows. Also note that this list generally only tracks broadcast network shows, and not series on the cable networks...)
