And,
Here is the list of shows that have been renewed for the '01-'02 TV season; special cases (i.e. those shows with more than a one-year renewal) are indicated by "(...)". To keep track of such things, shows that were new the '00-'01 season (i.e. the '00-'01 season was the show's first season) have been marked in red:
ABC CBS NBC --- --- --- 20/20 48 Hours City Guys (Sat. morning) ABC Saturday Night Movie 60 Minutes (I & II) Dateline (x3) Dharma & Greg Becker Ed The Drew Carey Show CBS Sunday Night Movie ER (thru 2004) The Job CSI Frasier (thru 2004) The Mole The District Friends Monday Night Football Everybody Loves Raymond Just Deal (Sat. morning) (thru 2003) My Wife and Kids Family Law Just Shoot Me (thru 2003) NYPD Blue JAG (thru 2003) Law & Order (thru 2005) Once & Again Judging Amy Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (thru 2003) The Practice (thru 2004) King of Queens NBC Saturday Night Movie Primetime (Thursday) Survivor (III/Africa) Providence Spin City That's Life Third Watch What About Joan Touched by an Angel Three Sisters Who Wants to Be Yes Dear The Weakest Link (x2) a Millionaire (x2) Whose Line Is The West Wing It Anyway? By definition, shows that are "ending their runs" are doing so by mututal agreement among the network, the cast, and the production crew, and generally have "final" episodes (e.g. Star Trek: Voyager, Walker Texas Ranger, 90210, Party of Five, Mad About You, Melrose Place, Seinfeld, etc.); otherwise, they've been cancelled (e.g. The Pretender, Early Edition, Homicide, Ellen, Murder She Wrote, Lois & Clark, Dallas, etc.).
Here is the list of the TV shows that are ending their runs after many seasons at the end of the '01-'02 TV year:
Shows Ending Run Network ---------------- ------- Ally McBeal FOX (It's official! - Kelley & Fox pulled the plug after 5 seasons.) City Guys NBC (Note: The final episodes of this Saturday morning T-NBC series had already been filmed, in the prvious season, but aired this season.) Earth: Final Conflict Syn. (Season #5 was E:FC's last.) Felicity WBN (Felicity ended when her college days did.) For Your Love WBN (After 10 new episodes, it was over.) The Steve Harvey Show WBN (After 13 new episodes, Steve Harvey was over.) The X-Files FOX (It's official! - after 7 seasons, this show was history!; Duchovny returned for finale.)
Here is the list of the TV shows from the '01-'02 season that are known to be cancelled. Again, to keep track of such things, shows that are new this season (i.e. this is the show's first season) have been marked in red:

This is the list of shows that appear to be "in trouble" (i.e. in danger of cancellation), with the network that the shows air on, and comments. By the way, if you see the word "retooling" next to a show you like, expect the worst, as network "retooling" almost always leads to a decline in the show's quality and usually ends with cancellation.
(NOTE: This list is mostly the opinion of this author, as influenced by media reports (e.g. The LA Times), and Internet scuttlebutt!)

And here is the list of the TV shows from the '01-'02 season that will be moved from old times to new timeslots for the Fall 2001. The new airing times are also listed.
